Crimson
Tear
A
crimson tear,
Rolled
down my face,
Dropped
off my lip,
Left
its taste,
She
looked shocked,
As
the crimson tear,
That
held my life,
Raced
through the air,
Made
no sound, as we fell,
Through
the earth,
Inside,
I yelled,
What
have you done?
My
heart was yours,
The
seconds pause,
As
the crimson tear,
Disappears,
Now
the well sank deep,
And
the lake grew wide,
As
my body died,
I
walked away,
She
cried to stay,
But
she’d made her choice,
In
haste,
Her
anger voiced.
