Time?

If I had time,

I’d saunter in the sun,

Wander without reason,

Meander across the land.

If I had time,

To ponder all the questions,

Sample indecision,

I bet I’d understand.

If I had time,

To live the life they’d chosen,

Responsible for someone,

Would I be the man I am?

Take the time, to make your mind,

In 10 years time don’t be frightened,

It’s just a ride.

They didn’t have time to laugh or cry,

Lightning strikes a darkened mind.

If you tell me when my time has come,

I’ll greet you with my fiery tongue,

If you tell me when my time has come,

With open arms I’ll take it on,

And when, and when, and when it comes,

A journey deeper I’ll continue on…
