Night Terrors

Dark night,

Stars not so bright,

A fearful wind whispers,

Streets without light,

Be afraid of the streets without light.

Misty tension in the air,

I recommend you remain aware,

Dangers lurking,

It’s a dark night,

Caution heeds my stride,

Courteous shadow keeps out of sight.

Living dead,

A man without hope,

Desperate hunters,

Look to fill their trove,

But who is really on the prowl,

I’ll catch you by surprise,

The end, you die.
